EUROCOPTER SOUTHERN AFRICA CUSTOMER FLY-AWAY WEEKEND TO MOZAMBIQUE
Friday, 11 July 2008  -  Monday, 14 July 2008

Eurocopter Southern Africa arranged for a customer fly-away weekend between 11 and 14 July 2008. Four EC130 B4 and three AS350 B3 Squirrel helicopters left Gauteng for Indigo Bay in the Bazaruto Island archipelago.

Bazaruto and the Mozambique coastline boasts some of the most beautiful and idyllic beaches on the African continent. The picturesque accommodation afforded by the ‘Indigo Bay Island Resort and Spa’ made our stay a particularly enjoyable one!

A variety of water sports were on the agenda, including fishing and Scuba. A heavenly picnic excursion to Paradise Island nearly caused most of us visitors to remain behind, never to return to the RSA! Activities such as volley ball and dune boarding turned healthy rivalry into great esprit de corps amongst the participants!

Suffice it to say that the weekend was a great success and enabled individuals to understand and get to know one another much better. The flights to and from Indigo Bay were achieved without any incident. A big ‘Thank you’ to all our Customers and Staff who contributed to make this a sensational event!
